Personal Health Information

If, in the course of contacting us (by chat, email, or phone), you share information about your own or a family member's health condition or care needs, that information may qualify as "personal health information" under Ontario's Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 ("PHIPA") if our organization or the relevant staff member is acting as a "health information custodian" under that Act. Where PHIPA applies, we handle that information in accordance with PHIPA's requirements in addition to this Site's Privacy Policy. Whether PHIPA applies depends on the specific services involved and is addressed more fully once a formal client relationship and service agreement are in place.

3. Services Subject to Change

The types of in-home care services described on the Site are for illustrative purposes and are subject to change without notice. We do not guarantee that any specific service listed is currently available, offered in your area, or will remain available in the future. Please contact us directly by phone, email, or chat to confirm current service offerings and availability.

4. No Pricing; No Offer to Contract

The Site does not list or quote prices for any services. Any general information provided is not an offer to contract, and no pricing, quote, or fee schedule discussed informally (including through the chat box, email, or phone) is binding until confirmed in a separate written service agreement signed by both parties. Should the Site begin offering online transactions in the future, such transactions would be subject to Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002, including its rules for internet and remote agreements, and these Terms would be updated accordingly.

5. Use of the Site

By using the Site, you agree that you will not:

We make reasonable efforts to respond to inquiries promptly but do not guarantee a specific response time, and the chat box is not monitored 24/7 for emergencies.

Do not use the chat box, email, or non-emergency phone lines to report a medical emergency. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

If you provide your email address to us, we may send you commercial electronic messages (such as follow-up information about our services) only in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation ("CASL"). Where required, we will obtain your consent before sending such messages, identify ourselves in each message, and provide a working way to unsubscribe.
